Staff training at the top of LGS Handling Ltd priorities
LGS Handling Ltd has successfully completed a series of specialized training seminars for its staff. This initiative falls within the framework for the continuous upgrading of the quality of its service offering.
LGS Handling Ltd acknowledges the importance of staff training and the essential role it plays for the safety of both employees and passengers. Therefore, it has invested heavily in a fully-equipped in-house training center located at Larnaka airport manned by certified trainers from IATA, ICAO, the Civil Aviation of Cyprus, as well as the Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority.
The main objective of the seminars is to refresh and enhance the skills and knowledge of all levels and categories of staff (both permanent and seasonal), employed by LGS Handling Ltd at both airports. The correct implementation of regulations and procedures ensures not only the safety of staff, but also the safety of passengers, luggage and aircrafts.
LGS Handling Ltd has received many awards and commendations by airlines for the correct implementation and application of safety standards and directives, as well as for the high level of quality of its service offering.
Since May 2008 LGS Handling Ltd, the only company on the island and in the industry under Cypriot control, offers passenger, ramp and cargo handling services to more than 90 airlines as well as to a large number of private jets and military aircrafts at both Larnaka and Pafos international airports.
